MEET THE TEAM

KIRK HAMBLIN

Originally from a farm in Matong, our electrician Kirk worked as a substation technician at Essential Energy for over 10 years before starting his Hamblin Solar adventure with his brother Chad in 2018. Safe to say he knows his stuff!

Kirk has two beautiful daughters with wife Tessa. On the weekends you might find him on the sidelines cheering on the North Wagga Saints AFL first grade side (now he’s retired from playing and coaching)!

ELI CROZIER

Our little pocket rocket apprentice Eli is originally from Junee. He joined the team after finishing year 10 and wanting to get a trade.

On the weekends you won’t find Eli running around with the North Wagga Saints, with his size and stature he decided to go against the successful affiliation the Crozier name has with AFL and try his luck with rugby league. Eli plays for the Junee Diesels and when he’s not running around Laurie Daley Oval he is out fishing with mates.

CHAD HAMBLIN

Family man Chad took the step to start Hamblin Solar with his brother Kirk in 2018 when he moved back to Wagga Wagga to start his family. After growing up and working on the family farm in Matong and starting his own rural fencing business, Chad is as handy as they come!

With two daughters and a son, Chad is also an avid AFL lover, having previously coached the first grade Culcairn Lions & North Wagga Saints AFL teams.

BEN CAREY

Ben, a Wagga Wagga local joined the Hamblin Solar team as a mature age apprentice and has been a great asset to the team.

The longest standing North Wagga Saint, Ben has been playing AFL at McPherson Oval since he was 12 years old as a junior and is now a leader of the club playing first grade. In his spare time, he is out camping with family and friends.

KY HANLON

Our electrician Ky is originally from Weethalle. He joined the Hamblin Solar team straight after completing year 12 at boarding school in Leeton.

At 184cm short he had a calling to AFL, and after growing up playing the sport, it was no surprise that when he joined the Hamblin Solar team he only had one option, to play for North Wagga Saints! During the AFL offseason, Ky can be found out on the local dams waterskiing with his family.

TESSA HAMBLIN

The face behind the admin, Tessa is originally from Narrandera and is married to Kirk. Together they have 2 beautiful girls.

When Tessa is not working on the Hamblin Solar books, she works as an Oral Health Therapist at CSU tutoring students and in a private practice in Narrandera. She loves playing netball and going to the gym.
